The Lighthouse Mentorship Program is a nonprofit mentorship program open to young Chinese talents across industries in the Silicon Valley, New York City and Boston Area. As the leading organization of the program, the Tsinghua Entrepreneur and Executive Club (TEEC) strives to cultivate a new generation of leaders and innovators, to build a professional network, and to support career and entrepreneurship.

 
 

About

The Lighthouse Mentorship Program was founded in 2015, by the Northern California Tsinghua University Alumni Association (THUAA-NC), the Tsinghua Entrepreneur and Executive Club (TEEC) and the Tsinghua Entrepreneur Network (TEN). In 2017, the Lighthouse Mentorship Program was brought to the East Coast, started by TEEC and MITCEO. Until now, the Lighthouse Mentorship Program has entered its fifth class in the West Coast and the third in the East Coast.

Our mission is to cultivate future leaders that has a wide world view and insights for innovation. By bridging mentors who are established entrepreneur and senior management personnel with young talents, we hope to achieve the following:

  • Expanding career network and sharing experiences, and thus allowing participants to better establish career goals, navigate through career path and become more competitive in the global scale.

  • Passing on the TEEC tradition of helping each other and giving back to the community.

 

Our Mentors

Our mentors includes members of TEEC as well as outstanding business leaders, entrepreneurs and senior management from various geographies. With a combination of mentors with diverse backgrounds, we strive to provide each participant experiences that suit their goals and dreams. Through in-depth discussions and sharing sessions, our mentors engage closely with participants, creating a unique environment for growth and community building.

The Events

The Lighthouse Program has independent sections for professionals and start-ups. The mentors and mentees for each section will customize the activities and contents to the needs and characteristics of the mentees, and gather 1-2 times each month. Typical forms of activity include and is not limited to: lecture, seminar, panel, and company visits. Each gathering is a unique opportunity for expanding horizons, self improvement, and skill enhancement.
